Bridgepoint is a UK-based private equity business whose portfolio includes big-name brands like Pret a Manger, Wiggle and MotoGP. Wanting to communicate their difference and the unique way they work, Bridgepoint approached us to redefine their corporate literature – starting with their annual reports.

Our challenge was to demonstrate how Bridgepoint’s expert teams build stronger businesses with the potential to grow by connecting bold ideas with hard capital – a complex conundrum that required a simple design solution.

A fresh approach

We needed to make it clear to audiences that Bridgepoint is a significant and growing player in the private equity sector – with the commercial awareness, technical knowledge and personal qualities to take businesses where they need to go. Its reports needed to feel inspiring, reassuring and informative – not stale and expected.


Leading with impact

We made the bold decision to lead with the impact Bridgepoint makes for others – a move that ensured we could design and weave distinctiveness throughout Bridgepoint reports, from cover to cover. We always started with a core idea for the reports – from ‘Ideas. Realised’ to ‘Not business as usual’ – which set the tone for all of our creative outputs.


Sharpening up

Over the course of our 5 year plus relationship with Bridgepoint, we’ve helped to push the limits of the brand visually – especially photography. A key component of reporting, we’ve art directed shoots by leading photographers around the world – helping Bridgepoint break out from the generic world of private equity through a style of their own that’s both eye-catching and appropriate.

Corporate reporting is all about the details. From the chosen paper stock to the standard of design that flows throughout the document, everything adds up to make a statement.
