Nottingham-based branding agency Cubic is delighted to announce a new management team that will lead the business in the future.
Following a management buyout, founder Adam Travis is stepping down from his role as managing director and major shareholder of one of the Midlands’ most established creative agencies, Cubic. He is succeeded by Simon Harrison, who continues as creative director, and Oliver Bingham who is promoted to managing director. Both are equal equity partners, with Simon continuing to oversee all of Cubic’s creative outputs and Ollie leading on strategic work as well as client services.
Adam Travis said: “I’m hugely proud of what I have achieved with Cubic, founding the agency more than 20 years ago and growing it to produce some of the most effective branding and design work outside of the capital. Simon and Ollie have been a big part of the Cubic success story, and it feels like now is the perfect time for them to step up and shape the next 20 years of the business.”
The restructure follows a challenging time for creative businesses, but a productive period for Cubic. With recent client wins including NaughtOne and Watches of Switzerland – as well as the successful development and rollout of a refreshed brand for global drug manufacturing accelerator Quotient Sciences – Cubic’s focus has continued to be on delivering original brand-led thinking and groundbreaking creative output for businesses both regionally and nationally.
“Cubic’s been a part of my life for over 11 years already, so I’m excited to continue to grow the business in partnership with Ollie” says Simon Harrison. “Together, we’ll work to build on the success of Cubic by connecting sharp strategy with distinctive design.”
“Cubic’s reputation, portfolio and potential for producing standout creative work speaks for itself” says Oliver Bingham. “I’m looking forward to helping our clients do and achieve more with their brands. We wish Adam well and thank him for making Cubic the brilliant business it is today.”
